2 Original photographs by Alexander Alland (1902 Sebastopol, Crimea - 1989 New York)  The small photo/ with the photographer's original stamp on the back measures 5.25 x 4.25 approximately.  In very good condition.  The larger portrait measures 5.75 x 4.25 approximately.  The second photo has some corner bumps, and some surface wear. Alland is in the collections of The Museum of Modern Art, Museum of the City of New York, and The New York Public Library.  His work is represented by the Howard Greenberg Gallery in New York.
